Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Windows Software Testing Engineer to oversee and manage our Windows hardware component partners. The ideal candidate will have a Windows software developig background, excellent testing and debugging skills, and the ability to maintain well relationships with our providers. In this role, the candidate's responsibilities: JD: • Execute feature and device validation based on the test plan; • Triage issues and validate the resolutions; • Develop automation tools / scripts to facilitate test execution; • Document development processes, code changes, and other relevant information. • Summarize and report out validation results in a comprehensive manner. • Support workshop, training events, forums as required. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. • 2+ years working experience in PC industry; • Familiar with reporting tools such as Excel and PowerBI; • Familiar with writing scripts in PowerShell. ▍About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at trading and social investing platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in fintech and manual software testing. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through comprehensive testing and meticulous attention to detail. ▍Key Responsibilities - Perform manual testing of our fintech products, including the design and execution of detailed test cases, and document and report findings. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure system requirements are understood and met. - Identify, log, and track defects, inconsistencies, and potential enhancements in our products. - Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues in collaboration with different teams, ensuring the identification and resolution of root causes. - Provide valuable feedback to the development team to ensure that solutions are fully testable. - Actively engage in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, to ensure smooth project progression. - Communicate test progress, results, and any relevant updates effectively with team members and stakeholders. ▍Qualifications and Skills - A genuine passion for manual testing in software/web applications, particularly within the fintech sector. - Passion for writing automated testing code and ensuring all aspects are thoroughly checked by code. - At least 3 year of relevant work experience. - Basic understanding of software development principles and practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Bonus: Understanding of entry-level Python programming and an interest in transitioning to a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role in the future.
