Position: Senior Automation Project Manager
What You Will Do?
• Develop project plans for the design and integration of automation equipment into construction processes. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring that automated systems are installed and operational as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure automation equipment, ensuring the selection of high-quality and cost-effective solutions. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
• Efficiently allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to ensure the seamless integration of automation systems into the construction workflow.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that automation equipment meets project specifications, performs reliably, and contributes to project efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create and manage budgets for automation equipment projects. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget status.
• Supervise the onsite installation of automation equipment, ensuring that it aligns with project plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Oversee testing and commissioning procedures for automation systems to ensure they function as intended and meet performance criteria.
• Collaborate with operations teams to facilitate the smooth transition of automation systems from construction to operational use.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional project teams, providing clear and timely communication, addressing issues, and coordinating efforts to achieve project objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management with a focus on automation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, equipment design, installation, and integration into construction processes.
• Experience in launching new logistics center, factories or large facilities (including equipment deployment and management of all related processes)
• Developing User Acceptance Testing processes, detailing and executing logic testing, sorter testing, integrated safety testing, vendor qualification and system readiness, snagging processes
• Proficiency in equipment procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of WMS/ WCS integration processes, PLC and IO testing, knowledge on Automation systems and PLC coding
