【Introduction】 Our client is a prominent Japanese company that operates primarily in the field engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for various industries. 【Responsibilities】 - The primary responsibility for the first focus point is to report to the Site Manager. - Be familiar with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015, and ensure they are implemented and maintained. - Implementation & Maintenance of HSE Management System programmed (Respect & Care, safety campaign etc.) to continually improve HSE performance. - Ensure project site safety policies, plans, and procedures are implemented effectively, supporting continual improvement within areas of responsibility and specific work activities. - Demonstrated leadership in fostering a positive safety culture, including implementing initiatives such as Incident Injury Free (IIF) and Respect and Care (R&C) culture. - Lead the Respect and Care (R&C) Culture efforts to inculcate a positive safety culture in the SOC members, local subcontractors - Participate in the weekly R&C Leadership Listening Tour. - Participate in scheduled and periodic HSE-related meetings with Client, Subcontractors etc. - Incident reporting and report writing (Taproot) including update of Incident register. - Provide expert advice and guidance to project contractors on effective safety culture development and transformation, and drive continual improvement during all project phases. - Support the project in all HSE-related disciplines and scopes of work, with specific HSE focus on developing safety culture and improving human factors-related performance. - Participate in and cooperate during emergency evacuation drills and mock drills, effectively assisting in response efforts during actual emergency situations. - To support the company HSE Management System and ensure policies, procedures and work instructions are maintained and communicated to relevant personnel, and are consistent with the requirements of company Policies and lifesaving rules. 【Requirements】 - Proficient in English (spoken and written) - More than 15 years of total HSE experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior HSE role (e.g., HSE Manager or Deputy HSE Manager). - Proven experience on large-scale EPC/EPCM projects, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or LNG sectors. - Familiar with TapRooT® or other incident investigation training (e.g., RCA).
