Experience:

As the Data Team Lead at JKOPay, you will take on a leadership role in managing and mentoring the Data Engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of JKOPay’s data systems, including both real-time and batch processing. -Strong proficiency in backend development with expertise in shell scripting, SQL, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala).
-Expertise in distributed computing engines and platforms (e.g., ClickHouse, PySpark, Kafka, BigQuery, Airflow).
-Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing infrastructure for large-scale data processing and storage solutions.

As an SDET at JKOpay, you will collaborate with RD and PM teams to conduct test development in your area of responsibility according to the project's progress. In addition to project tasks, you will assist with app-related release matters. Lastly, you will work together to maintain technical projects specific to SDET and optimize existing frameworks and processes.
We expect you to possess strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, problem-solving capabilities, resilience under pressure, adaptability, proactivity, and technical expertise. Additionally, you should have a passion for and a solid understanding of the electronic payment market, and be willing to fully dedicate yourself to the product.

As a part of the SRE team in JKOPay, we provide and manage JKOPay’s infrastructure that serves +6 million users in Taiwan, as well as all partners and stakeholders that integrate with our payment service, which handles 3-billion transaction amounts every month.
With the rapid growth of JKOPay’s business, SRE team is the key to making a product successful, as the extensibility and maintainability show how far JKOPay can go. It is an exciting moment as we are modernizing our development flow to fulfill JKOPay’s business complexity in the future.
